NEW DELHI: Intex Technologies is entering the low-cost PC market with the launch of a low-budget computer, GB-75501 in the Indian market.
Powered by Intel Atom processor, the desktop comes in two variants.
The first version comes with a 945 GCLF Intel chipset, 1GB memory, 80GB hard disk, DVD RoM and 17-inch CRT monitor. The other model packs same configurations but has a 160GB hard disk and a DVD writer.
The first model retails for Rs 12,900 and the other has a price tag of Rs 13,500.
The company aims to market its low-cost desktop in rural and semi-urban households, cyber cafes, small and medium enterprises.
